This is my last day up at The Refuge in family week, and I need to say I feel like I have my daughter back. The work that she has done up here is outstanding! The Refuge is such a beautiful place to unravel the trauma and find your authentic self! A shout out to all of the staff there that have such unconditional love for their job. Thank you!

The Refuge truly is just that - a safe hideaway nestled in the lush Ocala National Forest where miracles happen every day. Literally. Anyone struggling to conquer their demons can leave here on a path toward healing IF they're willing to be honest, "do the work," and continue their recovery beyond the program. I've personally witnessed several lives being transformed here, and am a loyal supporter of their style and environment. Highly recommend to anyone seeking 'a healing place.'

I can’t say enough about the referral process for the Refuge.  My experience with our outreach rep was one of the best I've experienced.  He was so helpful and available to field any questions or concerns. Likewise, the admissions team fantastic.  My client was able to get all of her questions answered and felt supported all the way through the process. Once there, the treatment team was in contact with me regarding my client’s progress, challenges and any setbacks. I was included in clinical decisions and my client had a profoundly healing experience around a long-standing trauma background.  Her progress has continued since arriving home and she acknowledges that going to the The Refuge was one of the best things she has done for herself.

This is an exceptional place. I have never experienced a place as such. The way they conduct their program(s) is like no other place. The amount of experience in this program is amazing. I honestly can not say enough. I was very hesitant about this place after reading negative reviews and it has been a polar opposite experience than those negative reviews. They have excellent medical staff as well as all the rest of the staff. The property is absolutely beautiful. There is always good food and a variety of food. There are places to have personal space when needed. They allow and encourage family involvement.
