Keron Shand, RCWSI, EMDR Trained

Therapist

Keron is a graduate from Walden University. She holds a master’s degree in social work with a focus on Mental Health and Substance use addiction. She has experience working with all levels of care. She has worked in mental health agencies addressing co-occurring disorders, PTSD in veterans, and trauma related issues. She also provides faith base therapy, integrating faith and spirituality in individual therapy for appropriate clients. Having a loved one who struggles with mental health, Keron is passionate about utilizing empathy, empowerment and strength-based approaches to treatment. She is trained in and utilizes CBT, DBT and EMDR to ensure underlying issues are identified and therapeutically address as well as to further support clients with addressing their symptoms and developing new resources and skills development to aid them in their recovery.
