Michael Richard, MSW


Michael has been working in the mental health and substance abuse field since 2015. With experience in psychiatric crisis stabilization, substance abuse, human-animal interconnectedness, and trauma; he is dedicated to instilling hope and facilitating recovery in our nations most stigmatized populations. “Helping individuals initiate, manage, and maintain long-term positive change is what it’s all about”. Michael is a Saint Leo University graduate with a Master’s Degree in Social Work: Advanced Clinical Practice and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Management.  Graduating with honors, Michael is a member of both PHI ALPHA Honor Society in Social Work and PSI CHI International Honor Society in Psychology. Currently, he is obtaining supervision to become a LCSW in the State of Florida. Inside the office Michael focuses on emotional regulation, behavior modification, and trauma processing with an emphasis on reducing the frequency, intensity, and duration of flashbacks and dissociative episodes. Outside the office, Michael focuses on family, grilling, American football, and circle track auto racing.
