Mabel Melendez, MFT

Program Manager

Mabel is from Dominican Republic. She received her Bachelors in Clinical Psychology from The Dominican Adventist University and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. She is a Nationally Certified Therapist and is working toward licensure with the state of Florida. Mabel has worked in a variety of settings, including individuals, families and groups, using a variety of therapeutic approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic Therapy; Family and Couple Therapy. She has clinical experience with a variety of mental illnesses including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Mabel is bilingual, (English/ Spanish) and is certified in Cultural Aspects of the Hispanic Population from the Perspective of Beck Cognitive Therapy. Mabel is passionate about serving the community, conflict resolution, and providing guidance to the healing process to those in need.
