Kelly Burns, LMHC, ATR, Basic ART

Expressive Art Therapist

Kelly received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy from Adler University in Chicago, IL. Kelly is licensed by the state of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, as well as a Registered Art Therapist through the Art Therapy Credentials Board. Her experience includes working with adolescents and adults in inpatient, residential and outpatient settings for mental health and addiction treatment. Kelly uses trauma informed expressive art therapy with clients at the Refuge to address trauma, addiction and issues with mental health. She is passionate about sharing the healing power of art with her clients and helps create safe places for clients to explore their trauma through art making.
