John Brandner, MA


John (Jack) has been working in the field of substance abuse and addiction since 1992.  His experience ranges from public school districts, Job Corps, Juvenile Detention, private practice, Head of IOP, PHP,  and rehabilitation facilities.  Jack also taught Addiction, to Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers in Connecticut.  Helping people overcome obstacles in their life is the focus.  Jack graduated from Cambridge College, and he earned a Master’s of Addiction Studies.  He currently holds Addiction Counseling Licenses in three states and is Internationally Certified.  Jack has also played college baseball, and coached, football, basketball, and baseball at a High School Varsity level.  To say that there isn’t any type of treatment Jack hasn’t tried would be an understatement.  Jack loves talking to anyone in recovery and believes it all starts with a conversation.  Jack loves all types of sports, his 16 year old daughter and his girlfriend very much and he is proud to have made this a lifelong career.
