Jessica Calabro, MS, EAGALA

Jessica Calabro completed her Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Stetson University in December of 2021. She is currently working towards licensure in the state of Florida. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in residential and outpatient settings. Jessica is EAGALA trained and gained experience providing equine-assisted psychotherapy with civilian and military populations.
Jessica has training in Expressive arts and Sand tray therapies. Additionally she is certified in providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as person-centered, solution-focused, and experiential therapies. As a counselor, she is genuine and collaborative in her approach with clients. Jessica joined the Refuge to pursue her passion for healing the mind, body, and spirit. The Refuge provides the ideal natural setting to offer a variety of alternative therapies.
