Brittney Ellzey, MSW, Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern
Brittney graduated with a Master degree in Social Work from Florida State University in 2018 and is pursuing her LCSW certification through the State of Florida. Brittney has experience working with individuals struggling with mood disorders, substance abuse/recovery, and trauma history in crisis stabilization, individual, and group therapy settings. Brittney also has a history serving populations such as individuals experiencing homelessness, adults 18+, and pediatrics.
Brittney was born and raised in Ocala, FL then transitioned to Tallahassee, FL for 8 years to obtain her college education and expand her clinical skills. She has since made her way back to Ocala, FL to continue expanding her knowledge in the mental health field. Brittney is a passionate advocate for patients who struggle to have a voice and assist them in recovering the voice once lost. Brittney believes in building and promoting patients’ self-determination and self-motivation to overcome hardships. She provides a safe and welcoming environment for patients to begin unraveling inner turmoil that prohibits patients from moving forward.
