Dr Yasin Choudry, MD is the contract psychiatrist for The Refuge. His credentials include being the President of the Lake-Sumpter Psychiatric Society; he is Board Certified with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and a Diplomat of the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Dr Choudry is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and he completed his combined residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and went continued residency psychiatry at Wayne State University. In addition to working for The Refuge, Dr Choudry has been expanding his private practice to include and incorporate holistic treatment approaches for mental health and substance abuse. His vast knowledge of psychiatry, addiction and holistic medicine are an integral part of The Refuge’s commitment to complete client care.
