Tracy Jones

Recreations and Operations
Tracy joined the Refuge team just after the facility opened, and has been working in the addictions treatment profession since 1989. This includes working as the supervisor of the substance abuse component of an Impact Incarceration Program (Adult Boot Camp) for 9 years & serving for over a year as Clinical Coordinator at another substance abuse program in Illinois. Tracy is a certified black belt in the martial arts & a RAD certified instructor in women’s self-defense. Prior to working in addiction treatment, he owned a martial arts school for 5 years. Tracy has BS degrees in psychology & physical education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He is certified to teach psychology, physical education, & social sciences in secondary education. Tracy is Gorski trained in relapse prevention & facilitates the relapse prevention program at the Refuge. In addition Tracy coordinates the recreation program, co-facilitates a women’s self-defense class, and assists with operations.
