Mark Rosen started with The Refuge in 2008 and is in charge of Discharge Planning and coordinating Aftercare Services. Mark brings rich educational and work experience with him: he’s a graduate of Concordia College with a BA in Psychology with post-graduate work at Simmons College in Special Education. He taught autistic children for 6 years in addition to being a professional sports broadcaster for minor league baseball and college basketball in southern Connecticut prior to relocating to Florida in 2006. Mark developed and now leads the Lifeskills program for The refuge that is personalized for each rehab client. Mark has established a broad network of affiliates and referral sources for on-going supportive care throughout the country for our clients and his dedication to assure continuity of care for our alumni is unsurpassed.
