Jamie has her MSW from the University of Central Florida and is a certified therapist in hypnosis, EMDR and a Certified Addiction Professional in Florida. She came to The Refuge in 2004 and has worked in residential treatment settings for over a decade. She is a highly skilled facilitator in the alternative healing arts such as Breathwork, Reiki, EMDR and hypnosis and has a wealth of experience conducting cognitive/behavioral treatment techniques.

Jamie has authored articles and research; her most recent publication was on smoking cessation. Further, while at Hanley-Hazelden in W. Palm Beach she often lectured on various addiction interventions. Jamie brings with her an exceptional knowledge of esoteric healing arts such as aroma therapy, meditation techniques and experiential relaxation.
