Isabel Hernandez-Carstens CBHT
Director of Facilities Isabel has been at The Refuge since it began in 2003. Isabel is Bilingual in Spanish and lived in South America, England and has now settled in the United States. She is a Certified Behavioral Hypnotherapist and is currently pursuing her degree in psychology. Isabel has worked in both mental health and addictions residential programs. Isabel is in charge of the day to day operations of The Refuge in addition to filling in as a clinical support team member. She is an exceptionally gifted support clinician who often assists clients and provides an extra measure of attention as they process through their trauma. Isabel has been an invaluable Director – her sensitivity, her ability to be highly organized and client centered makes her a valuable resource for The Refuge and our clients. |
