Brett Watt, CRSS
Director of House Management Brett has been with The Refuge for two years and is Director of House Managers. He is a Certified Recovery Support Specialist in Florida and is currently working on his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. He supervises the support staff for The refuge and his staff provides coverage 24 hours a day every day. Brett has an exceptional background in automotive racing and sales, he transferred his skills to recovery and being a part of the organizational team for The Refuge. As supervisor of the House Management Department, he is a central coordinator and liaison between the clinical staff and the support staff. Brett’s workers are available 24 hours a day and work closely with the clients throughout the course of treatment. The House Management department is responsible for assisting the clients in virtually every facet of their treatment: from getting acclimated to the environment on intake, to setting up case management appointments on discharge. Brett oversees the day to day treatment activities and plans special events such as outings to the natural parks in the area. Brett is an exceptionally gifted support clinician able to assist the new and anxious clients and to provide an extra measure of attention and support for the clients as they process through their trauma. |
