Steve received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley; his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and completed his internship at the Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. He has been published numerous times in Psychology Journals including the Journal of Women and Aging, European Journal of Social Psychology, Journal of Hospital and Community Psychiatry and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. Additionally, he has presented at numerous national conferences on topics that he is passionate about. Steve is the Past President of Philadelphia Behavior Therapy Association and has also served on the School Board and Zoning Board in Upper Merion County Pennsylvania. Steve is passionate about Yoga and its healing ability with trauma survivors. He is an advanced Yoga Instructor and is a 500 hours certified Yoga Instructor. Steve is licensed in Florida, Delaware and Pennsylvania and is a wonderful addition to The Refuge clinical team.

This event is sponsored by The Institute for Continuing Education and offers 1.5 contact hours with full attendance required. CE credit is offered for psychology (APA) , social work/ counseling, MFT (Florida Dept. Health, CE Provider BAP 255.). There is no additional fee for CE credit.
